Why is my hair not getting as straight as I want it to?
For best results, ensure that you have selected the appropriate temp setting for your hair type. When using the brush, move it at a slow and steady pace from the roots to the ends. If your hair is particularly coarse, consider using two passes.

Straightening and shines.
Works well, hand fits around handle without messing with control buttons. I had a different brush years ago that when I held it my hand fit just where the buttons were and kept turning it off. This TYMO brush is good. Heats quickly and my very naturally curly hair is board straight after using this brush. Takes several passes per section but my hair is soft, straight and shiny after using. I’m happy.

Great Styling Tool for Thick Wavy, Frizzy Hair
I have very thick long wavy/frizzy hair that has highlights. This tool flattened my entire head in under 15 minutes. I also have the Tymo comb which usually takes about 9 sections on each side totaling 20ish minutes. I had 3-4 sections on either side of my head with this and it worked amazingly. It doesn’t give you the glossy shine of a flatiron but I have no frizz and my hair is silky.

Amazingly effective and great value for money
Love how easy this is to use. I still have to pass through with a straightener at the end for shine and extra flatness but I love the quality of the end result and it’s so safe hard to burn your scalp. It also saves me so much time. Such good value for money. The two major improvements would be to make this easier to clean and have a wireless option to make it easier to travel with.

Awesome product!
Another amazing Tymo product. This thing is awesome and so easy. Not only does it straighten well but also controls the frizz somehow. I have super frizzy hair but not with this. I also love how it doesn’t get super hot on the tips so you can brush from root to end without burning your scalp. Very happy with purchase.

Tymo products are the only heating hair tools I’ll use from this moment forward for my 4C hair. I’m 66 years old and I have used a lot of hot irons of all kinds over my lifetime. For once, someone got it right for people with very coiled and zigzag curls like mine. I’ve bought three different tools: the original Tymo hair straightener II (works great to straighten, but the power button is in awkward place on the handle, and the design needed an update), the flat iron hair straightener brush 2 in 1 and the hair straightener brush. All three gets excellent temperatures that tames my hair to near bone straight, even the smaller edge hairs! I’ve not accidently burned myself either. The product comes with 1 glove, and the brush came with a comb too. When I’m done straightening my hair, it lasts much longer than normal. I stopped relaxers years ago, and now I can finally enjoy wear my hair straight whenever I want. Shiny, speed to heat, not too heavy to handle the product and hair straightened to almost silk press levels. This woman is very grateful, and I recommend 5 out of 5!

Not Impressive
First two pics are after using the TYMO heat brush to dry my hair… The next two are after using the TYMO hair straightener brush. Honestly it’s straighter after using my regular hair dryer than this straightener. I used a lower setting to avoid heat damage.. first 280, then 320. With thick, long, 4b 4c hair…. I maybe needed the highest setting but with the heat protectant on my hair, the brush already accumulated some and started smoking a lot, with a strong burnt smell. My hair wasn’t damaged but definitely looks the same as if I just used a hair dryer. It’s not as exciting as the dryer brush, which works really well. The straightener just smoothed it some. I want to try it on a higher setting, BUT I’m 30 weeks pregnant and not trying to break off my hair. Someone else mentioned that it requires cleaning and is difficult to clean. I agree. It immediately built up product and needed cleaning. I think a dry toothbrush will get the sides well, but between the bristles, I have no idea how to clean that. The brush should have came with a long bristled cleaning brush… It also didn’t come with the glove or clip. Maybe this model didn’t and I missed it but luckily it wasn’t scalding hot like the instructions. I was s little disappointed. I was hoping for flat ironed hair after… Maybe my hair is too thick??? Maybe only over 400 degrees would work?

Works wonderfully
Although I bought this item I was sceptical about it. But I have to admit it’s great. I was contemplating on cutting my hair short because of the time consumed using a hair straightening iron (my hair is frizzy) but based on the reviews I thought I would give it a go. Absolutely no regrets. I had my hair straightened in about 4 minutes!!!It’s very easy to use and so time saving. Next on my list is the travel size
